This astrological series begins with Aries. I was commissioned to paint it in specific colors and with the symbol of the ruling planet in the uppermost left corner (Aries ruling planet is Mars), and the symbol of the sign in the bottom right hand corner. Aries birthdays are from March 19th through April 23rd....Aries is the first sign in the Western zodiac, since it marks the beginning of spring.
